French skies

image Have you ever noticed that the sky looks different depending on where you are in the world? I’m obviously biased, but the sky in Burgundy in France where I come from always looks epic. It’s either that beautiful deep blue or it’s full of crazy awesome-looking clouds. The pics really don’t do it justice. image image “There is one spectacle grander than the sea, that is the sky; there is one spectacle grander than the sky, that is the interior of the soul.” ― Victor Hugo image image “Once I really looked at the sky, I wanted to go on looking; it seemed to draw me towards it and make me listen hard, though there was nothing to listen to, not so much as a twig was stirring.” ― Dodie Smithimage image Rest is not idleness, and to lie sometimes on the grass under trees on a summer’s day, listening to the murmur of the water, or watching the clouds float across the sky, is by no means a waste of time.
