Oh Golly Purple, I couldn’t agree more with you! Some folks are a real nasty piece of work, when it comes to responding to texts and it gets even more irksome, after texting a whole bunch of messages and they pull the ‘one-liner’ card on you like…’K’ and you be like…’huh’?! 😂
I don’t give myself any grief with those kinda people, I’d be sooo damned to allow ’em pull that nasty bit on me! I just simply take the high road and do away with ’em! Can’t deal! 😈😆
I know, right? Sooo annoying! You quickly learn who’s a bad “texter” though and even though you remind them of “text etiquette”, they just can’t be bothered. The worst for me is when they get upset with you for not replying quickly enough to *them* but they are always “too busy” to reply to *you* LOL
The thing that annoys me the most is when I text someone, it says they have read my message….and no reply!??? Argh! It takes seconds to reply. It’s just rude.
Ok, easy way to hijack this post, replace “Text” with “Mail” and put it on my blog 😀
(The same with text, but er.. my failing eyes and stubby fingers and my “flapping wings” hands mean that texting is a little more difficult for me and I call back instead.. rather than figure out what the auto-correct is going to do next to kill my relationship with people haha)…
Well, maybe you’ve never experienced it with any of your friends but there’s a couple of people I know who are totally irritating with texting. One especially who complains if you don’t reply quickly enough to *him* but who’s also quite happy to let *you* wait a whole day for a reply as he’s “too busy” to take 10 seconds to read and reply…drives me nuts! lol
Nathalie, GREAT RANT! So true! Here’s one for you and I don’t know if you have experienced this, you are out with a friend and the entire time you are with them they are busy texting other people.
Oh yes, I’ve experienced that too Pepperanne, but I won’t put up with it anymore. If that ever happened now I would very calmly gather my things and prepare to leave while telling them that if my presence isn’t enough for them I might as well leave them to the texting. I would do it too! lol
