Message in a bottle
With invisible ink, he draws a desert in the ether, to tell her he misses her.
He throws empty bottles into the sea, hoping they will somehow find their way to her – bottles full of air, carrying absent messages she is meant to decipher.
He is incapable of facing her, utterly unable to say the words that matter.
He is emotionally stunted and has been left stranded, a ship without anchor, condemned to linger and dither forever.

  2. Oh, how this one reached me, dear Nathalie … I loved the idea of those empty bottles full of air, with mo messages on them… but just `carrying absent messages she is meant to decipher´. -Silence could be eloquent at times, I guess.-
It certainly could be related to the inability to open up with someone ….
    Merveilleux, comme toujours… Bisous….Aquileana 😀

    1. Thank you lovely Aquileana, your comment is, as usual, a breath of fresh air 😉 I love that the empty bottles full of air resonated with you, that image came into my mind and wouldn’t leave 🙂
