Down the rabbit hole

image

The uncaring
The uninvolved
The emotionally
unavailable
spending their lives
in a shallow
plastic
bubble
They’re going to be
in such trouble
when they end up falling
down
the rabbit hole
How are they going
to cope?
The shock of having to deal
with more
than a choice between
various Starbucks coffees
(Espresso or Vanilla Bean Macchiato?? Sooo stressful, FML, I really don’t know!!)
might very well
make
their unused brain
explode
It might very
well
fucking
kill them

      1. Loved Negan, and the acting overall, but I’m really cheesed off about the ending and the way the writers and producers of the show keep childishly yanking our chains with such things. The Glen thing at the beginning of the season was a cheap shot, but this, coming so closely after that, is just about the last straw for me with the show. Lots of folks are not happy with this. Ending with the death of a major character is STILL a cliff hanger ending even if they show who it is. GoT does this very well almost every season. I’m bummed out and kinda pissed. Cheap shot, I say, and not necessary to get me to watch the show. Not to mention, I wouldn’t doubt if it’s a minor character who was killed which would be an even bigger insult to the audience. Let’s wait 6 months to see that Eugene got whacked? Not cool. Other than that, I really liked the episode. Great acting all around. πŸ™‚

Well, I wish I could post pictures in comments because I posted one on Twitter about this. Which was basically: WTAF? Stop with the crazy cliffhangers! I mean, I don’t mind the cliffhangers, BUT this was just too much! We won’t know who it was now until September, it’s ridiculous!! We finally met Negan and I though he was far too cool, but whatever. What I found incredibly interesting and distressing was the fact that Rick ended up scared as hell, and literally shaking with it…it’s a rare sight and you know you’ve gotta be worried when Rick is terrified!
I just CANNOT believe we have to wait another 6 months to know!!!!

      1. I felt the same way. He looked scared to death. I was trying to figure out who it was, and it seems that it was someone to his right. I’m thinking that it was one of the members from Alexandria, since they knew about the Saviors and their demand for half. Maybe a penalty for disobedience? I haven’t read the comic, so I’ll have to wait until September, too.

      2. I’m giving you and the beautiful gorgeous girl the exact same reply Rob! πŸ˜‰ Okay, this is how I see it: Carol went from absolute badass to a pussycat who cannot handle killing anymore in about 5 minutes. Does that make sense? No. Not 1 little bit, I can buy the change of heart but you have to build it up, it just wouldn’t happen overnight, no way. Then the Saviours somehow managed to block every single road AND somehow knew where the gang was going to stop to hatch their little plan? (btw, never has whistling in a dark forest seem SO creepy) I know Negan is powerful, but is he THAT powerful? And how did they know that Rick was going to be leaving Alexandria with the others? They couldn’t possibly know that Maggie was going to have a medical emergency, were they hoping they were going to come in search of Glenn and co? Or were they waiting JUST IN CASE? The group would never have had to take Maggie away if they didn’t let their ONLY doctor go on a run, totally stupidly, only for her to predictably get shot through the eye. And Daryl and the others leaving last week was also incredibly stupid. In fact, this half season has been 1 spectacularly bad decision after another.
Anyway, all in all, we KNEW what was going to happen, we knew we were going to meet Negan, at the end of the episode of course, we knew somebody was going to get killed, and we knew there was going to be a cliffhanger…and I’m fine with all that… but WHY not let us see who got killed? It seems like SUCH a cheap trick. Isn’t the fact that somebody gets killed and Rick and co are in such a dire situation ENOUGH of a cliffhanger and enough to wet our appetites for next season? Come on!! I was SO upset after watching the finale last night that I left my house and went to McDonalds, I NEEDED junk food real actual bad.

      3. I don’t know about Carol. It seems that she’s having a Tyreese moment. She’s seems to have given up to me. As far as the Saviors, they had to have known about Rick’s plans to save Maggie. But who told them? Did they torture Eugene to find out what the plans were? Is there a mole in their camp? From what I’ve read, they didn’t film the death scene, because they didn’t want any of the cast members to know how it ended. I’m in agreement. Too much of a cliffhanger. I tossed and turned all night ( I know – pretty bad, huh?) after watching it. I walked away from that last episode with my perspective completely changed on the world that they live in. I thought that they had numbers, and that the biggest threat would be The Wolves, Now we have a small army that they have to contend with.

      1. omg…lol…McDonalds to the rescue… I FEEL you, luv! Carol has just LOST her shit, it’s beyond bizarre. And EXACTLY, how in the HELL did they plan all those roadblocks, etc??? Talk about stupid about Denise and Daryl and Glenn too… they all just caught THE STUPID. Rick got TOO ARROGANT, true, but Negan and his neanderthals aren’t that precision army like ingenious. It’s so far fetched. Truly is. I HATE cliffhangers like that!! Is it some sort of contract negotiation tactic? da fuq? I have been RACKING My brains (no pun intended) and I at first thought it was Eugene because he hugged Abraham, told everyone bye, isn’t a coward anymore, etc, but then I watched The Talking Dead and Kirkman made it sound like the murder will radically change the whole group. They already saw Hershel beheaded, so this will have to be someone really huge, I’m thinking Rick… I think he killed Rick cause he said something about keeping the boy away or something about putting out his other eye, that means it can’t be Carl cause why worry about his other eye if you’re killing him? If it’s Rosita I would be going, THank God, she irritates me so f-ing much… But, It HAS to be someone really important. I guess it can’t be Rick, but it can’t be Glenn because they have already made us think he’s died like a zillion times… Maggie, no, sasha, no, Abraham, no, Aaron, no, Daryl, no…I’m pissed too though. The last few episodes were like Walking Dead Mission Impossible Unstoppable Rick’s Killing Crew… now look at them all… ugh, I’m with you…i need a BIG MAC asap!!! dammit…

      2. I have no idea who does but they built up the whole Eugene making such a huge sacrifice that it could be him? Or not. I don’t think it’s Rick, I don’t believe that, in fact I haven’t got an effing clue!

      3. Well, Eugene does make sense after he offered to be bait and the way they all said goodbye to him, knowing full well he wouldn’t get out of it alive…but…maybe that was a red herring…I’m “happy” for it to be Rosita, out of everyone, I’d rather it was her. We never see her anyway, her character hasn’t been developed or anything…

      4. She’s just a biatch, breaking poor Spencer’s heart… plus she’s always mean and snarky to Eugene. They never have given her back story, never given her any little quirks or anything very likable. She gots ta go…

Not yet, between doing my own writing, posting it at past 2am, which is a record for me, and catching up with various people, I haven’t had time to look at the reader. I’m going to go and read it now, you’ll be my last stop before sleep πŸ˜‰
