As the dark night sank into fire and blazed, she stood — and the stars dimmed by soft degrees, quietly, so as not to overshadow the queen – Khaleesi.
Soon, all could be seen were the flames dancing in her flaxen hair and the power of the dragon emerging from her fierce, commanding stare.
Image credit: my own. I couldn’t help but take a couple of minutes to do my own version of that spine-tingling moment – you’d be forgiven to think I have far too much time on my hands…except I really don’t, I’m actually crazy busy at the moment… I’m just GoT obsessed. #Guilty

Love these words and this photo!!! So sensual and sexy YOU ARE, sweet N!! What a gorgeous image you created of your gorgeousness. Just dreamy, Beauty ❤ ❤ ❤

You and everyone else is obsessed (or at least I am). That was an intense scene and your version is masterful 🙂

I don’t think *everyone* is obsessed with GoT but it sure seems like a hell of a lot of people are 😉 As they should be, it has everything you could possibly want in a TV show (if you’re into violent fantasy type of stories, that is 😜)
Thank you, you’re too kind 🙂

Have to agree with JustAGirlLost because firstly when I saw this I didn’t think it was you and secondly I didn’t make the all important connection. What is WRONG WITH ME? Now that I have with my dunder-slow-brain I’m in awe of your conjurers abilities lady! Not only is this beautiful and thus, by inference, you are, (but we knew this, oh yes we were sure of this) but it’s extremely well done and a lovely tribute both to your writing which is as always, magical, and to those of us who love (okay … obsessively love!) GoT! I do hope you’ll always love GoT, so many have fallen out of favor (they who are weak, who are disloyal, who are cursed…) and it’s great to talk to another girl about GoT too because so many girls think it’s sexist (I don’t think so at all and I’m a good little bra-burner at times). Anyway LostGirl said it perfectly I can only follow on her nimble heels and nominate you as the beauty of WP, long may you reign my sister.

😂 You’re so funny! There was really no conjuring, she’s small and pale like me, isn’t she? One of the Khals called her a “milky midget” before she burnt them all to death and I was like: “hey, ho, that’s me!” 😂
I already have the long blonde hair, although mine is real and not as lush as the wig Emilia Clarke wears as khaleesi, but…you can see that it wasn’t much of a stretch for me to “impersonate” her for a few seconds, and from the back only, obviously. It makes me laugh because you were on my Facebook yesterday and I’d only just changed my profile pic to “this” yesterday morning…and you didn’t click! 😂
As for the rest, you’re far too kind, as usual. *You* are the master writer and *you* are the beauty #Fact
Rest assured I’ll never get sick of GoT, I don’t think it’s sexist at all, I think it hammers everyone, men and women alike and doesn’t discriminate in its ferocity 😉

Note the word ‘WIG’ which is CHEATING and hahahah I laughed so much at that midget joke because then she BURNED THEM TO DEATH!!!

I’m a sinner, how I could have missed the homage to the dragon queen, in my defense I can only say, I was laughing too much at some of your posts and humor and trying not to dog you with all those creepy ‘aren’t you beautiful’ from sicko pot bellied 60 year olds that we all seem to get on FB land. Ah and my political correctness retarded my homage, such an error. I also have been unfaithful I confess, and begun watching Vikings which is really good (strike me down) though this young WITCH of a woman has just made the main character cheat on his nice wife and I want to BLIND HER. Think I take TV a bit too seriously for an intellectual? 😉 HAHAHAHA!
LikeLiked by 1 person
Ohhhh, is Vikings really good? I was thinking about getting it on that…if you recommend it then I definitely will! And there is NOTHING wrong for an intellectual to take TV (some carefully selected bits of TV anyway) seriously! 😜

It was ERIC who told me about it. I had dismissed it as probably being really gory and about fights but turns out it’s about Viking Mysticism and relationships and struggles not unlike GoT. I really like it. Is it as good? Hard to say I’m only in S.1 and I guess my bias of GoT runs deep 😉 But it’s DEFINITELY worth watching. If you do LMK what you think. Oh and it’s not sexist either, in fact there’s some serious girl-fight scenes and the main male is hunky and his wife is fiesty so it’s a really good combo

That settles it, I’m going to have to get in on it. Not right now because I don’t have time but I will, and I’ll keep you updated 😉

I definitely did NOT think I’d like it and I definitely do so I expect you would. BTW find it very refreshing to hear you say that about TV as I get it up the arse about watching TV and how if you are really intelligent yardyyardyya and it’s such a CROCK

Oh yeah, like that Madonna thing years ago “my children don’t watch TV, no way” I think I read the mighty Gwyneth Paltrow also has that policy in place…and I’m like, ffs! Watching TV does not decrease your IQ, does it? As long as you’re not parked in front of it all day watching reality shows (the fucking Kardashians I’m sure would make me lose my edge a bit if I ever watched their shit lol) then I don’t see what the problem is.

EXACTLY! Classic example! You’re so right it’s this really diabolic snobbishness that makes NO sense as much of my creativity was generated by excellent shows and I see no real problem unless you’re addicted to reality TV 24/7 and never read a book but that’s not OUR problem! Oh LORD the Kardashians maybe would turn me to glue, they’re very nauseating and about as sexy as an intact tom cat pissing on my flower bed. But to be all snotty about TV really implies an insecurity on their part I reckon or a need to loft themselves above others. Fortunately I’m happy being the passed out drunk under the table, you get the best reception 🙂

Everything you just said, apply to yourself…and that last bit to me! *You* make me believe in the world again…in case I was rather too obscure. And if anyone else is reading this, yes, we are being disgustingly, nauseatingly “nice” to each other, but fuck it, I don’t care because I’m rather fussy and selective and when I find something/somebody I like, I have to go all out!!

Actually it’s ABOUT BLOODY TIME (Jon Snows Northern accent NOT plummy real one) that girls were nice to other girls without A. Being effing liers or B. Trying to have some Bi fun. I think if we support one another it makes the world less bitchy and I for one would applaud that (but still not eat faux French food from M&S)

Couldn’t agree more! I’m honest to a fault, I can’t stand fake people, if I don’t like you I’m not necessarily going to pelt you with well-chosen insults BUT I’m certainly not going to lick your face like an adoring puppy either! I don’t like lying and that makes me a really rubbish liar. I like people to be as honest with me as I am with them. None of that fakery with me, please…if I’m not your cup of tea, fair enough, don’t be nice to me…only to slag me off behind my back later…what is the point of that?!
Also, as boring as it’s going to make me sound, and I don’t give a shit, I’m as straight as a die, so no Bi fun is likely to come from me 😂
Faux French food from M&S is also totally out of the question! Hahaha

Do you find it hard to be in London and be honest to a fault? I’m sure not as hard as it can be in parts of America where it is actually an OFFICIAL SIN not to lie liberally about things ‘oh my gaaad dear you looookkk wonnnderful! but I have noticed the last few times I visited London it has been a little beseiged by a change in tolerance and attitude, less real Londoners more people coming in to make pots of money. Or maybe I’m just bitter. Either way it’s a shame because I really loved London of old (though it’s more interesting than many other places). My family come from the South of France so it was a lot more exciting living in a big city and I always found Paris a little snobby for my taste even if I could fit into the invariable tiny sizes and smoke like a hyped up caffeine rabbit. It isn’t boring to BE WHO YOU ARE and if it is then screw it because too many people want to be everything, want to be popular even if it means being insincere, and want to be all things so they can have the worlds attention. Ultimately if you have an opinion you’re not going to be the most popular person in the room, you’re going to piss some people off, and that’s okay. Personally I’m all for knowing who you are and accepting it, there’s too much phony going on and weekend S&Mer’s just get on my tits

Funnily enough, I wrote something about my experiences with a certain London crowd back in February: https://arwenaragornstar.com/2016/02/09/flowers-and-salinger/
