I feel your desire

from across the ocean

such passion

with wild ambitions

a tsunami

of unbridled emotions

rolling in

gathering strength

as it gets near

and I don’t know if I should run

or stay still

and let it swallow me

  1. The poet in me loves these beautiful words and the voyeur was so happy with the comments! πŸ˜‰πŸ˜ Continue…😈 Oh, and stay still. Let “the wave,” soak you thoroughly. πŸ˜›πŸŒŠ

  2. First off – your poem here is breath-taking and incredible amazing and beautifully captured. It flows so well with the picture you posted. πŸ™‚

P.S Mr. M sure doesn’t give up on you does he? Is he bothering you? I don’t want nobody to mess with you. Remember I have your back and sis as well.

  3. This is always the question, for those of us who have been let-down/betrayed and hurt by words and actions from those professing one thing and then turning on a dime. It is incredibly difficult and some people they assume it’s as easy as switching a switch and ‘suddenly’ you’re able to trust completely as if none of your past ever existed. I have actually known people like that and wondered HOW they do it. I expect the reckless abandon is a facade and deep-down they are as scared or mistrustful or unsure as anyone else. Either way, the point is you can only be YOU and not try to change because some dogmatic moron is telling you that you need to be more courageous. You have more courage than most, but sometimes the greatest courage is being honest and knowing that if you rush you may be burned but equally if you close your doors, nothing will happen. It is that delicate balancing act that usually reveals if we made the right choice. I cannot say other than I know you well enough to know you have the answers and you can feel in your gut if it’s worthy. If it is, then let it try, and be able to accept it, but if it’s not, walk away with your head high and never look back because you my dear friend, are never going to be trampled upon again. FACT.
