Bound in Chains

The wind cannot be contained
A volcano cannot be restrained
Claimed
Or owned
I slither away, a deluded snake
Having met more than its equal
It is impossible to teach
A warrior queen about sin
I kissed her sensual lips
Now I am bound in chains

      1. Just finished catching up on the writing of yours I missed whilst away. Girl your birthday suits you, makes you a year younger and a world wiser. Glad I hadn’t seen THE DRESS picture whilst traveling might have ploughed into that snow drift !

      1. I don’t think I have heard the word ‘poppycock’ in twenty years! Love it! ha ha ha! If you didn’t have a hot accent I would be imagining some very upright English girl with steel wire glasses on and long socks πŸ˜‰ you being quite the opposite to that makes a great contrast !

  1. I’m besotted with the raw passion of this piece, maybe you should write in this style and fluency more, because you may be like me and over-edit sometimes and over-think when actually what’s staring at you is already finished. Either way this is a definite favorite.
